A 23-year-old man has been allegedly assaulted in an unprovoked attack at a licensed venue in Byron Bay.
Police say the incident occurred at 11 o’clock on Friday night, at the Northern Hotel.
It’s reported a male assaulted another man, with the victim receiving significant trauma to his mouth and teeth.
He’s undergone emergency surgery.
No arrests have been made – anyone with information is urged to contact Police.
