LATEST NSW CRIME STATISTICS SHOW OVER 300% INCREASE IN RICHMOND VALLEY BREAK & ENTERS IN NON-DWELLINGS

The latest crime statistics from the New South Wales Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research show the Richmond and Tweed police districts saw an almost a 50% increase on dwelling break and enters in the last two years.

There was also a 41.5% increase on motor vehicle thefts, and a 50% increase on motor vehicle thefts.

The Richmond Valley saw some of the highest crime rate increases in the state.

The region recorded a 328.6% increase on break and enters in non-dwelling buildings.
