Sitting on the top of the table, the Newcastle Northstars kept their winning streak alive defeating Melbourne Ice 9-3 on Saturday at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium.
Ice smacked 2 goals into the net early in the first period putting the Northstars on notice.
Northstars started to get their mojo together in the 2nd period adding 5 goals to the scoreboard. In the final period, Northstars scored 2 more goals and left the ice at full time with a comfortable win.
