Thousands of young footballers will head to Lismore for the Joeys Mini World Cup, in September.
The six-day event has drawn in players from across the country.
“The mini World Cup will be known as the Lismore Mini World Cup and it will definitely stay here for three years maybe even longer, we were hellbent after what happened to the people of Lismore to bring the event here,” said organiser Heinrich Haussler.
The Cup’s expected to generate more than 2-million dollars.
