Worker bitten by a suspected brown snake at nursery

A woman working at Alstonville’s Alpine Nursery has been bitten on the hand, by a suspected brown snake.

She received first aid on site before paramedics arrived.

She was taken to Lismore Base Hospital in a stable condition.
