Some ‘sweet’ news out of Norco today with the company confirming a major rebuild of Lismore’s Ice Cream Factory.
It’s accepted a $34.7-million business support package from the Federal and State Governments to help restore the heritage-listed site.
The factory, which will reopen under a revised layout, will employ as many locals as possible.
The rebuild comes after the site copped more than $100-million in damages during the February floods.
