The Northern Rivers Livestock Exchange has outdone key regional markets, to become number two in the state for throughput.
NRLX Redevelopment & Operations Manager Brad Willis said a $15-million facility upgrade, moving the NRLX toward a sustainable business model.
“$210 million for the community last year is the value of livestock sold through the facility and as we know it’s been a trying time in the community for the year with the floods and with what’s happened,”Mr Willis said.
