Gunnedah faces fifth major floods in two months

The Namoi river peaked in Gunnedah at 8.3 metres today – marking the town’s fifth major flood in two months.

Residents are again going through the motions of returning to their houses to begin the clean up – while the SES turns it’s attention to Wee Waa where the Namoi is expected to peak above the major flood level.
