Gold Coast Blaze owner Owen Tomlinson is heading to Sydney this morning to meet with Basketball Australia in an effort to save the club from extinction.
The family owned business has joined forces with the Gold Coast Regional Basketball Association.
It’s hopes that will be sufficient to meet tomorrow’s deadline to prove the club has the financial ability to stay in the National Basketball League.
The Blaze went into voluntary administration in May owing creditors $12 million.
