BUTCHER BOYS SLAY THE SEAGULLS IN NEWCASTLE RUGBY LEAGUE

Just one game in the Real NRL today because of the weather and it was Central who outclassed Lakes, Tom Morton crossing for the first try.
The slippery conditions made points hard to come by, but Ryan Walker did it easy.
Despite plenty of tension, both teams were obeying league’s no punching rule.
Shortly before the break, Lakes were on the board, Jay Sullivan setting up Matt Bridge.
The rain continued to tumble and soon the cricket pitch resembled a swimming pool.
In the end, a try to Jace Delaney saw the Butcher Boys finish comfortable winners, 24-6.
