JETS FINALLY OPEN THEIR ACCOUNT WITH A WIN OVER ADELAIDE

The Newcastle Jets have won their first game of the A-League season, beating Adelaide 2-1.
The first half saw plenty of frustration for both sides.
Former Adelaide, now Jets flyer, Nathan Burns went agonisingly close to opening the scoring for Newcastle.
It took until the 40th minute for Dutch defender Kew Jaliens to break the deadlock.
