Port Macquarie swimmer, James Magnussen, has claimed a gold medal in the 100-metres freestyle at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The two-time world champion finished the race in a time of 48.11 seconds, ahead of fellow Australian Cameron McEvoy.
It’s Magnussen’s second medal at the games, following the men’s 4×100-metre freestyle win on Friday.
