FORGET THE BIG BANANA, THE ‘BIG SURFBOARD’ IS MOVING TO THE COAST

A giant surfboard could soon rise over Gold Coast Highway, in a bid to lure more visitors into Surfers Paradise.

It’s hoped the sign will become a new local icon, much like the Surfers sign on the Esplanade.
