Police today expanded the search area for William Tyrell, focusing on the possibility the three-year-old could have been taken to another area by car.
A 20-kilometre radius from where he was last seen was canvassed by officers using trail bikes and four wheel drives.
While nothing was found, police remain hopeful of locating young William.
Strike Force Rossann continues to investigate every potential lead.
