WOOLGOOLGA BUSINESSES TARGETED IN RAM RAIDS

Two businesses on the Coffs Coast have been targeted in ram raids this morning.

Just after two o’clock, a car was driven into the front of a bottle shop on Beach Street at Woolgoolga.

A short time later, a service station on Solitary Island Way was rammed.

An unknown number of people in the car then threatened staff with knives and demanded money, before fleeing the scene.

The car, a stolen Toyota Prado, was found nearby and is being forensically examined.

Police are investigating whether the incidents are linked.
