An Adamstown woman will face court in January after she allegedly defrauded a local government body.
Police arrested the 53-year-old yesterday following an investigation into irregularities in work-related expenses and invoices at the organisation.
She was later charged with six counts of obtaining financial benefit by deception in excess of $31,000.
It’s alleged the offences took place between January 2011 and May 2014.
The woman will appear before Newcastle Local Court on January 15.
