Three teenagers have been charged after allegedly stealing a car and leading police on chase from Newcastle to the Central Coast yesterday.
Police allege a 15-year-old boy stole a white Toyotal Corolla from Sydney’s west last Saturday.
It’s alleged the car was used in a series of robberies around Newcastle over the weekend.
Police spotted the car at around 1pm yesterday at Shortland, and initiated a pursuit which was later called off.
The car was then sighted south at Berkeley Vale, and another pursuit – involving Polair – ended at Woy Woy with the arrests of three youths.
A 15-year-old boy will face children’s court today, charged with a string of driving and robbery offences.
Meanwhile a 15-year-old boy and 16-year-old boy – both from the Central Coast – will appear in court next month.
