A Sydney man has died in a single-vehicle crash south of Taree overnight.
The 49-year-old was travelling south along the Pacific Highway at Possum Brush at around 10:30 last night, when his car left the road on a right-hand bend.
He careered through a fence and crashed into a tree.
Emergency services arrived a short time later, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe fatigue may have been a factor in the crash.
