Glen Innes airport dropped to -7.7 degrees this morning.
That’s pretty impressive when you consider that Thredbo top station went to -8 degrees.
It was tough to get out of bed in Woolbrook also starting the day at -6.4. No June records were broken but it was one of the coldest starts to a June day this early in the month.
Get used to the icy cold mornings they are with us for some time thanks to a large high that will make for clear, calm, cold nights and mostly sunny, dry days with light winds.
Large dangerous waves along the coast will ease in the coming days.
