Stockland Jesmond has wrapped up a $10-million redevelopment, with the opening of a new ALDI supermarket today.
Hundreds of eager shoppers burst through the front doors, when the store officially opened at 8:30 this morning.
$30 gift vouchers were handed to the first 300 people.
“It will certainly be a great addition to Stockland Jesmond, providing more variety for our customers to choose from,” said Stockland Centre Manager, Michelle Thomas.
The opening is the final piece of a major upgrade of the shopping centre, which has included internal refurbishments and a new ‘Eat Street’.
