Tafe Students have been busy putting theory into practice, by helping construct the Slim Dusty Centre in Kempsey.
Since March, the students have built a dividing wall in the museum, an outdoor drainage area, storage space and are currently finishing a 30-person theatre.
The hands-on experience goes towards attaining a Certificate Two in Construction.
The centre is expected to open in October.
