JETS HANG ON TO BEAT THE PHOENIX IN WELLINGTON

The Newcastle Jets have begun a new era under coach Scott Miller with a win over the Phoenix in Wellington.
Despite skipper Nigel Boogaard being sent off in the second half, the Jets hung on to win 2-1.
