A woman has been questioned by police, following the death of a man who was hit by a car in Moree this morning.
Police were called to Oak Street shortly before 6 o’clock – witnesses say the man was dragged for a short distance before the car stopped.
The man was freed by police and paramedics and taken to Moree Hospital, but died a short time later.
