Avoca’s Adrian Buchan has advanced to Round Four of the Hawaiin Pro.
The Ace was in superb form – scoring two eight point rides to defeat Portugal’s Tiago Peres and Lennox Head surfer Adam Melling.
His two wave total of 17 points was the highest so far, in this year’s event.
Fellow locals Glenn Hall, Matt Wilkinson and Wade Carmichael will all compete in Round Three tomorrow.
