ASSAULT PROMPTS CALLS FOR MORE PROTECTION OF PARAMEDICS

The health union says more needs to be done to protect frontline paramedics in New South Wales.

It comes after a 41-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a patient at Newcastle’s Mater Hospital last night.
