HERONS CREEK RESIDENTS SAY ‘NO’ TO NEW QUARRY

Residents of the small township of Herons Creek, south of Port Macquarie, are vowing to fight plans for a new quarry near their homes.

They’re concerned the project, if approved, will damage local waterways.
