GARY BAILDON JOINS COUNCIL ELECTION RACE

The upcoming Council elections just got very interesting, with former Gold Coast Mayor Gary Baildon announcing he’s joining the race.

Baildon will battle for the highly sought-after Division 7 seat of Surfers Paradise and surrounds.

Thrilled that Gary Baildon will be returning – to Council hopefully. He has always worked and cared for the benefit of the Gold Coast and the people and hope he gets elected in 2016 !

You have my support Garry.. Sorry I can not help you this time owing to old age and poor health.

Are you in favor or against a cruise ship terminal at the spit
Are you against any commercial development of the spit recreational area if not against what do you propose for the area and how will this benefit the people that use it now

Parking in streets off Bundall Rd is affecting residents, I have received parking tickets in front of my duplex as it is only 2 hours parking but there is no commonsense approach to this and a blanket policy was used rather than a constructive approach. Lex Bell has done nothing about it
There needs to be a more relaxed resident parking permit e.g. we have four cars and as we have 2 garages, we could not get a residents parking permit how ridiculous has this council become, yet Isle of Capri has no restrictions on parking and is closer to Surfers CBD than Vespa Cres I hope you can look into this if you are elected
    Thank you
