Tamworth’s Paddy Ryan impressed in his first outing for the Waratahs last night at loosehead prop.
The 27-year-old was promoted in place of former Wallaby, Benn Robinson, for his work rate.
Ryan powered through the 80 minutes, switching to his preferred position of tighthead late in the match.
After the Tahs’ 20-point win in the season opener, he’s hopeful of retaining the number one jersey for next Friday night’s clash against the Brumbies.
