It has been one of the longest runs of hot, dry weather during this time of the year in recorded history for the Hunter and NW. Today a trough line slowly began to move in, triggering showers and storms and there’s more on the way. The increased cloud cover and southerly will also deliver some temperature relief. Inland will receive some rain but totals will be small. Coastal showers will settle in for most of the week.
