A large rain band with a storm front following in pursuit is making it’s way across the region this afternoon, marking the beginning of more Autumn like weather after a very long, dry, hot run with high humidity levels along the coast.
The wet weather will move through quickly for a mostly fine, cooler start to the weekend with lower humidity levels.
Coastal showers will move back in and build from Sunday with onshore winds.
A new southerly swell will also follow the southerly change.
