NBN weather presenter Gavin Morris takes a look at the forecast for the lead up to Easter as well as the long weekend:-
The coast has been hit by heavy showers in between Sydney and Newcastle with 50 to 80 millimetres falling overnight.
Isolated, coastal showers will continue tomorrow before drying up on Wednesday.
Thursday is looking very nice for the entire region and Good Friday is shaping up before a weak change comes through and this may trigger more coastal shower activity for the second half of the Easter long weekend.
The NSW North West looks set to remain fine and mostly sunny at this point.
I’ll check the long weekend updated forecast daily.
