Wallaby Captain Stephen Moore was in Newcastle today, sharing his wisdom at the Hawthorne Club’s launch of the Newcastle and Hunter rugby season.
Injured Maitland hooker Dom Punch was in attendance and was given a warm reception by the audience.
Moore says the Wallabies loss to the All Blacks in the World Cup final has provided extra motivation for the upcoming international fixtures.
The NHRU season kicks off tomorrow.
