WEATHER: WILD WINDS BACKING OFF SLIGHTLY

Tomorrow, the low pressure system will begin to weaken as it pulls away from the coast.

The strong winds for the Central Coast, North West, Mid North Coast and Hunter will back off slightly as they move around to the south.

This low will be slow to move away – a large new swell will then spread north.

It will remain quite windy over the next few days with strong southerly winds.

Showers will affect the Central Coast, Greater Hunter, Mid North Coast and parts of the North West and Tablelands.

It’s expected to be fine for the Northern Rivers and south east Queensland.
