In surfing and Merewether’s Jackson Baker, has advanced to round four of the Qualifying Series event in Japan.
Tackling atrocious conditions at a beach an hour south of Tokyo, Baker managed a pair of fives to advance into second spot.

Chris Michalak from Fingal Bay also advanced into round four,unfortunately not from ‘MEREWETHER’ so i guess not newsworthy.do your job NBN.any wonder surfest struggles every year for support and newcastle hasnt had a world title contender since MR,he was from merewether though.
