A man is in a critical condition after his ute ran into a truck on the Gold Coast.
Police say, at around 2.30am, a utility travelling along the Pacific Motorway at Helensvale slammed into a parked prime mover and trailer.
It’s believed the hazard lights on the truck were flashing at the time of the crash.
The 33-year-old male driver of the ute was transported to hospital in a critical condition.
The truck driver is assisting police.
