Stu Kennedy has had a strong start at the Qualifying event in Portugal, winning his opening heat.
The Lennox Head product posted a 7.67 and a 5.1 in round two of the Cascais 10,000 to progress to round three.
Kennedy is sitting dangerously close to the cut-off spot on Championship Tour, so every heat-win is valuable, as he looks to re-qualify.
