A father and his two year-old daughter have had a lucky escape today after the car he was driving went down an embankment on The Ridgeway road near Ourimbah.
The 37 year-old said he could feel the vehicle slipping, before it went off the side of the road moments later.
Thankfully a log prevented the car from slipping right to the bottom of the steep embankment.
Amazingly both escaped injury.
The stretch notorious for accidents in the wet.
