A house fire on the Central Coast has revealed a hydroponic cannabis crop of up to 500 plants.
Police were patrolling on Wyong Road at Berkeley Vale around 10pm last night, when they saw a nearby house on fire.
Officers were forced back from the blaze, and neighbouring homes were evacuated as a precaution.
Fire & Rescue NSW eventually extinguished the blaze, revealing the extensive hydroponic setup.
A police guard was put in place, and the scene will be forensically examined once it is deemed safe to enter.
