Police have allegedly uncovered methylampethamine and cannabis during a search at Port Stephens.
Police say they observed a man throw a package into a garden on Government Road in Shoal Bay, just after 5pm yesterday.
Police stopped the man and during a subsequent search, they allegedly located a large amount of methylampethamine and a quantity of cannabis.
The 32-year-old was charged with supplying a prohibited drug, and possessing a prohibited drug.
