Another security boost for the Macleay Valley, with CCTV being rolled out at a number of crime hotspots.
This week sixteen cameras will be installed along Kempsey’s Smith and Belgrave Streets.
Following that, more will be put up at South West Rocks, Crescent Head and West Kempsey
“They’ve been planned for almost ten years now, and so it’s great to finally see it come to fruition, we got a funding from the State Government earlier this year and it’s starting straight away,” Kempsey Shire Council’s Marilyn Breen said.
The rollout should be finished by November.
