ONE STABBED IN INVERELL BRAWL

Two men will front court after a man was allegedly stabbed in a brawl in the north of New South Wales.

Police say five men become involved in a fight at a hotel in Byron Street in Inverell, shortly after 1am yesterday.

Three men, aged 32, 45 and 60, were injured during the fight.

The 45-year-old man was airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital with serious injuries after allegedly being stabbed in the neck.

The 32-year-old man and 60-year-old man were taken to Inverell Hospital.

A 23-year-old man from Tweed Heads was charged with reckless wounding, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

A 21-year-old Queensland man was also charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
