Hunter footballer Emily van Egmond has arrived back in Australia to prepare for the Matildas’ two-game series against Brazil.
A host of her teammates visited a school in Sydney this morning, conducing training drills with students.
Game one at Penrith is a sellout, while more than 12,500 tickets have been sold for the September 19 clash at McDonald Jones Stadium.
“This is just the very beginning of it, we’ve still got a massive cycle with the World Cup and Olympics and it’s just the start, to get the Australian public on board early while we’re starting that campaign is incredible.”
