DRY CONDITIONS NO SUBSTANTIAL RAIN IN SIGHT

The Rural Fire Service has suspended the issuing of fire permits in the Lower Hunter, due to the recent dry spell.

Below average winter rainfall and warmer temperatures have turned the region into a barren landscape.
