PUBLIC PARKING ON STOCKTON LAWNS DURING SUPERCARS

Organisers of the Newcastle 500 have unveiled another measure in the hope of easing parking pressure in the city.

Stockton ferry car park and its surrounding lawn will become home to 2,000 cars, as part of a managed transport system during the race.

Well, won’t this open a can of worms!!!!!
We get booked for parking on the grass to catch a ferry because NCC doesn’t have enough car parks at the ferry.
Also, It’s ok to dig up the ballast ground with all these cars coming and going.
Will these people spend money in Stockton,, No
So, don’t allow RV’s for NYE at Stockton and they don’t park on the ballast ground!!
How about charging the out of towners who dont have a rate notice to pay for parking!!!
    We don’t take this lightly.
AND to have to find this on the net. No postal notification to me!!!
