SUPERCARS TRACK BUILD KICKS UP A GEAR

With 30,000 fans expected to hit Newcastle for the first day of the Supercars, the city council is now calling for businesses to help out – amid concerns the CBD will be bursting at the seams.

Meanwhile, the track build has gone up a gear, as the race to finish draws closer.

Asking the local businesses to help out by telling staff to stay home. Who will pay the wages or do the staff not get paid?

Disgusting, I thought business where to be the beneficiaries of this shamozzle Wouldn’t many then need extra staff not less if this was the case? – now your effectively telling them to close an or staff wont be able to get to their place of employment . How the hell was this fiasco allowed to happen – one has to wonder if it isnt some strategy to distract from the derailing of Newcastle .
