An altercation between two groups of men on the Gold Coast overnight has left two men in hospital with knife wounds.
A group of five men were approached by another group of males around 2am on the Esplanade in Surfers Paradise.
Two men, aged 25 and 30, suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
