Tamworth residents will begin to see some movement across the city as council prepares for its biggest event of the year.
While campers have been set up at the Riverside fields for a number of weeks – amenities blocks are only just being installed.
The camp ground is expected to be opened by Friday, with Carter Street officially closed to through traffic from 9am.
Production crews will also move into Bicentennial Park early next week to begin setting up the main stage.
While Peel Street, between Brisbane and White Street, will be closed from 5am next Friday.
