A man in his 70’s has been charged following the alleged assault of a woman in the Gold Coast.
Police say the incident occured at around 4pm yesterday at an address on Bridgman Drive in in Reedy Creek.
A 49-year-old woman was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment of a wound to her neck.
A 77-year-old man has been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm.
It’s believed the man and the woman are known to each other.
