BREWER AND VAN EGMOND HEADING TO PORTUGAL WITH MATILDAS

W-League Jets Emily van Egmond and Hannah Brewer have been rewarded for their great season with Newcastle by being selected in the 22-player Matildas squad for the upcoming Algarve Cup in Portugal.
The Aussie side has been grouped with Norway, China and the host nation, and will kick off the tournament with a game against the Norwegians on March 1.
Post-cup, the Matildas will return home to continue preparations for the 2018 Asian Cup in Jordan.
