GAV’S WEATHER: STRONG WINDS AND BIG SWELL

A succession of fronts are sweeping across the south east of the country.

Cool south west winds will now dominate the early days of winter.

The fronts will move in across the south east and into the Tasman where a large East Coast Low will form.

This will increase the swell and drive very strong south west winds in across the region over the coming days keeping temperatures down.

Very little rain will come from this system, only coast showers will develop with more dry weather inland as another large high moves in behind the front.
